Bill McGahee - President

Bill McGahee, owner and President of Auto Appraisal Services Of Georgia since 1985, is an Augusta native. He graduated from South Georgia College in Douglas, GA, in 1970 with an AA degree in Criminal Justice. In 1972, Bill graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BS in Criminal Justice, and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Bill then joined his father in the automobile business as Vice President of M & M Motors. In 1990, Bill took over as President of M & M Motors, holding that title until 1994.

During that time, Bill was elected President of the Georgia Independent Automobile Dealers Association, based in Atlanta, and was the youngest president in the 25 year history of the organization. Bill first joined the GIADA in 1969 and in the years that followed, he has served as Secretary, Vice President, Chairman of the Legislative Committee and as a member of the Used Car Consumer Action Panel. He was a member of the GIADA Licensing Board from 1980 to 1987.

Bill has also served as a Georgia delegate Board Member of the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association. His many credentials have allowed him to be recognized and an Expert Witness by the Superior Court of the Augusta Judicial District. Bill has been married for 26 years, has 2 children, and enjoys golf and coastal fishing in his spare time.
